BUDAPEST

Budapest has something for everyone and is truly the paradise in Europe for filmmakers: Boasting an eclectic mix of both contemporary and traditional architecture, Budapest’s multifaceted nature makes it the ideal substitute for any European city; often acting for the largest of metropolises, such as London, Paris and Berlin in different periods of history.

The city is divided by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer stunning views.

From dramatic and special history and versatile architecture to healing, natural thermal waters, culinary power, opera houses, sports stadiums and a nightlife, laid-back contemporary artistic style, that is unique in Eastern and Central Europe - ’the Pearl of the Danube' has it all.

INDUSTRIAL

Both the countryside and the capital offer peculiar industrial buildings and sites. Some of these facilities are abandoned, while some are still operational. They can be transformed to any set or background. These once-upon-a-time busy places are kept untouched. While the architectural condition is sacrificed over time, they overran by original history and the tarnish of these locations has still not faded.

THE COUNTRYSIDE

The countryside in Hungary is just as enthralling as its capital city. While it may not have the excitement and seduction of the bustling downtown, Hungary's countryside holds many scenic destinations filled with outdoor attractions and natural beauty. Its rural villages takes us back to old history through its charming traditions. There’s Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe; Lake Hévíz, the second largest thermal lake in the world; Hortobágy, the largest natural grassland in Europe; and much more.
